An officer attached to the Nigerian Security Civil Defence Corps has been accused of shooting an unarmed black marketer in FESTAC, Amuwo Odofin local government in Lagos.
The side effects of the excruciating pains of fuel scarcity in Nigeria has dramatically led to the death of a young man selling fuel in the black market while his counterpart was also shot in the leg as pictured in the report.

The incident of the unnamed man's death was announced on social media in the afternoon on the 6th of April (today).

The circumstances surrounding why a shot was fired at him is currently unknown but there is currently an outrage at 21 road, FESTAC where the ill-fated occurrence took place around Forte oil filling station. Angry residents have staged a protest with policemen on ground to manage the situation.

Reports also have it that the identity of the female NSCDC official who shot him is currently unknown.

Nigerians have endured the activities of black marketers who exploit them severely as a result of the rate race involved in the purchase of fuel since the scarcity started.
