In this unbelievable photo, a woman has snapped the moments a giant frog devoured another frog as it cried for mercy.
The cannibalistic frog
A cannibalistic tree frog has been caught green-handed eating his helpless cousin.
The photo was taken by Kate Cook and she wrote: "Snapped this photo after investigating a horrible squealing noise outside last night. Not what I was expecting to see! Mean, green, frog-eating machine. Eeeeek! Poor little frog, but I guess I just captured nature and the food chain doing its thing."
The amazing photo shows a large green tree frog eating a smaller Roth’s tree frog for a late-night snack in the Northern Territory town of Herbert.
