Nigerian scammers have hijacked the Bank Verification Number,BVN loophole to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians of their hard earned money.
A social media user has reported the new antics of Nigerian scammers to defraud Guarantee Trust bank customers of their money.

"I got a mail yesterday from GTBank@PHP notifying me of the suspension of my account due to incomplete BVN linking so I decided to check out the link attached to the mail I was surprised the site redirected me to a different site entirely but ended up bringing out a scam internet banking login page.
Please don't log your GT details"
