Shannon Pittman, 41, has been arrested on suspicion of raping a teenage girl after overdosing her with alcohol. She faces several sexual assault charges including strong-armed rape and sodomy.
The teenage victim had told her parent that Pittman got her drunk by giving her heavy liquor then carried out an alleged sexual assault.
The arrest affidavit revealed that the teenager was allegedly sexual assaulted inside a residence in Dalton, Georgia, local TV station News 12 reported. It also showed that Pittman's husband was also involved in the alleged assault but police have not arrested him.
