Woman Humiliated and in Tears, Banned From Boarding Airplane Forever

A woman has been placed on a life ban and will never be allowed to board a plane because of an awkward row.
Bridget Nhire claims she has been banned from boarding airplane for life

A fashion worker has been banned for life from boarding airplane. The woman claims she was handcuffed and strapped to her seat after a bizarre row on a British Airways flight.

According to reports, Bridget Nhire, 33, told how she was left “humiliated” and in tears after the alleged ordeal on a flight from Heathrow to Dubai led to her being handed a lifetime ban. The stylist, from Uxbridge, claimed she was escorted from the plane by police who then released her without charge five hours later.

According to The Express, she claimed that a row broke out when another passenger complained that she was repeatedly getting up to stretch her legs during the journey.

“He was telling me to sit down and I said ‘I have the right to get up and walk around for my health’. That escalated into a minor argument,” she said.

“Then the crew asked me to move to the front. They said ‘you are being aggressive, we feel you may have had a little too much to drink’.

“I had a drink but was not drunk. I had two glasses of wine with my meal. They strapped me to the seat and put me in plastic cuffs. I have bruises.”

Ms Nhire, who works as a style consultant for Reiss, is now seeking £350 compensation from BA after the airline allegedly refused to fly her back from Dubai in the wake of the alleged incident.

She said: “You cannot leave people stranded at foreign airports. Someone has messed up. BA should be held accountable.”

A British Airways spokeswoman said the airline does not comment on individuals but said lifetime bans can be appealed.
