A man has landed in trouble after he fell in love and impregnated his sister as he couldn't resist her beauty.
A man has been apprehended after he fell in love and secretly impregnated his blood sister.
According to a report by New Zimbabwe, the teen, aged 19, from Katete Village, Zimbabwe under Chief Nekatambe pleaded guilty to “sexual intercourse within a prohibited degree of relationship” when he appeared before Hwange magistrate Sharon Rosemani.
According to court evidence, the young man claimed he felt attracted to his younger sibling who is 15 years old.
“I just became attracted to my sister and when I told her about it she agreed. We had s*x three times, initially, and would also do it occasionally thereafter,” he told the court.
The magistrate sentenced him to 18 months in jail.
He will however, not be sent to prison after six months were suspended on conditions while 12 months were commuted to 420 hours of community service at the local Lubanga Clinic.
Prosecuting, Alfred Mzizi said teenager and his sister fell in love in September last year.
“He had sexual intercourse with the girl on numerous occasions between September 1, 2015 and March this year.
“The accused had no right to have s*x with her blood sister knowing they were related and in a prohibited degree of relationship,” said the prosecutor.
