So Terrible! Lagosians Groan in Pain as Flood Sweeps Viciously Through Homes (Photos)

The continuous rainfall has taken a negative toll on Lagos State as areas with poor drainage systems have been transformed into swimming pools with properties destroyed.
 
The highbrow area of Ajah-Lekki, Lagos has been ravaged by massive flood which has swept through homes, offices, markets and other places with several families displaced.
 
A social media user, Chief Fela Oduwaiye who is badly affected by the daily power has revealed that the Island residents have resigned to moving to Mowe Ibafo area of Ogun state to secure their lives and properties from vicious flood that has left the state government without options on intervention.
 
He shared the pictures on Facebook with the short message below:
 
"Welcome to my area, somewhere around Ajah - Lekki. People in Ajah and Lekki are now planning to move down to Mowe - Ibafo. One big guy in my close is still looking for his Bugatti 2015 model, the flood carried it away. O ma se o!

"Please can someone tell the governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode to contact Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers to learn tips on how he resolved the flood crisis in his state"
