How KCee's Five Star Music singer, Skiibii Faked His Own Death Just to Get Famous

While tributes are pouring in from other stars in the music industry, new reports are stating that Five Star Music artist Skiibii might not be dead after all.

 

This singular act from KCee's Five Star music artiste, Skiibii, will likely go down in history as the most tasteless publicity stunt ever in the Nigerian entertainment country.

 

We earlier reported the death of the musician, but Investigations are beginning to suggest that the up and coming youngster may have faked his death in order to become more popular, thereby promoting his new single.

A chat between Skiibii's friend and a third party has leaked on the internet and it reveals how the upcoming singer had hoped that the controversy would help his career and gaining him more publicity.

 

The leaked chat has been met with many anger-filled responses from fans. Skiibii's manager was also part of the plot. He posted an R.I.P picture to flame the rumor then deleted it.

 

 

 

A NET reporter that visited the Five Star Music residence in in Omole Estate, Lagos says that nothing seemed out of place on his arrival there as the workers were seen going about their businesses. He was told by the workers that there had not been an incident in the house and one told the reporter in anonymity that the said Skiibii had left the house in the company of label mate, Harry Song, just a few hours before his (reporter's) arrival.

 

It was learnt that the rumour was fueled by the label's manager, Soso Soberekon who is currently on tour with KCee in Europe. He is alleged to have confirmed the death of the KCee protege to a popular blogger after initially putting up a candle light picture on his Instagram page.

 

KCee on the other hand, has responded by saying the youngster is alive. He stated, "Been on transit from Oslo, Norway to Sweden this is to confirm Skiibii is not dead he is responding to treatment. Official statement dropping soon," on his Instagram page.

 

Following the death rumour, there had been a trail of condolence messages from other celebrities and colleagues, as many social media users who did not have an idea of who the singer was have now become familiar with his name as he has even trended on Twitter.

 

Entertainers are known to always pull out different types of publicity stunts to draw attntion to themselves, but no Nigerian artist has ever gone as far as faking a death.

 

Well, Skiibii can enjoy the few days of fame...it worked (but for how long?)
