Wives of former president’s in the country had always allow the plethora of chefs and stewards employed to work in their official residence to do the cooking for the first family, while they assume the status of First Lady, with retinue of aides surrounding them.
However, Aisha, after watching some of the children engaged in dance, beauty and other competitions, excused herself half way in course of the party, saying she needed to go home and prepare dinner for her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari.
“I’m going to leave you soon. I want to go back home to cook for my husband because my children are here playing with you. Nobody is at home, only my husband. So, I want to go back home to be with him and also cook dinner for him”, the president’s wife said.

Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Mrs. Aisha Buhari on Saturday has revealed that she still cooks her husband’s meal personally despite her current status as mother of the nation.
