The police on Monday recovered a day old baby abandoned in a carton along Adelodun road, in the Government Residential Area of Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.
A faceless mother who gave birth to an unwanted baby has allegedly dumped the child along Adelodun road, in the Government Residential Area of Ilorin, the Kwara state capital on Monday, 27th of July. The new-born was placed in a carton and abandoned by the road side.
The child was fortunately recovered by the men of the Kwara State Police Command. The baby was said to have been spotted by some residents who consequently put a distress call to the State Police Command.
A patrol team from the A-Division police team was said to gone to the scene and evacuated the baby and was taken to the Civil Service Clinic for medical attention
