Ijanikin Otto community in Lagos was on Monday morning thrown into mourning following the murder of a four year old boy by a teenager.
A 16-year-old boy, Tajudeen Azeez has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command over the alleged murder of a 4-year old boy in Ijaniki area of the state.
Investigations show now that Azeez, lured his 4 year old neighbour to a primary school in the Ijaniki area of Lagos, stabbed him, strangled him and removed his intestines, his kidney and cut off his penis.
He did because a man named Osho had approached him and asked him to get him fresh human parts and would pay him N50,000.
"At first, I did not want to succumb to the temptation but it kept coming. When I woke up this morning (Monday), I saw Ibrahim at the back of the house. I told him to escort me to a primary school not too far from the house. The name of the school is Anglican Primary School, Ijanikin. He followed me to the place and on arrival there, I stabbed him with a knife from behind. He fell down and I strangled him with a rope. I then cut his stomach open with the knife. I am sorry for what I did,”

The Police command spokesperson, DSP Patricia Amadin, disclosed that the police got an intelligence report that a young boy was murdered and when the police team visited the scene, the body of the victim was found on the floor with his stomach ripped open.
The PPRO expressed worries and sadness over the incident, in view of the fact that a teenager was involved in such violence, adding that the crime suggested ritual killing.
"At about 9.30am on Monday, information received by the DPO, Ijanikin Police Station, was that a little boy was killed at the back of Anglican Primary School, Ijanikin. The DPO swiftly led a team of his men to the scene.
"The lifeless body of the boy of about four years was found in a pool of his blood with his stomach removed. The DPO and his men commenced a search of the area and the suspect, a 16-year-old, was arrested.
He is in police custody. As of the time of arrest, he was found with blood stains on his body and he has since confessed to the crime. The victim has been evacuated to the mortuary."
From close observation, it was discovered that some vital organs such as the kidney and intestine had been removed from the deceased. All the organs were kept in a black nylon bag. The suspect was promptly arrested and taken to the station,” Amadin said.
She also noted that a search in currently on for the said Osho.
