Capital Oil Bans ‘Corrupt’ Oil Marketers From Its Terminal

The management of Capital Oil and Gas Industries limited has prohibited oil marketers who divert petroleum products to unapproved locations from lifting products from its terminal.
In a statement by the Director Media Services, Afam Ilounoh, described the diversion of petroleum products to locations not approved by regulatory authorities as “unpatriotic”. Iluonoh further explained that the ban has become necessary to save Nigerians from such unscrupulous practices which ultimately affects the citizens of Nigeria as some sell PMS above N87/litre which is the regulated price.
He said that the general perception of the public is that Capital Oil and Gas is short changing Nigerians since the company distributes a high percentage of petroleum products consumed daily nationwide.
